POWERTEC 71402 Router Table and Fence Set

POWERTEC introduces the Benchtop Router Table, a sturdy steel stand with splayed legs for a secure footing and predrilled braces to add a shelf or enclose the stand for dust control. The work area has high-pressure laminate covering a MDF core top with a CNC machined opening to fit the phenolic insert plate and industry standard miter track. This portable version allows you to have the precision and features of a full-size router table. It is a rugged and mobile solution to true precision routing and can be used on the jobsite or to save space in a small workshop.

The aluminum fence has locking knobs for easy adjustment and locking, and the fence has sliding faces that provide additional support for the workpiece. The table also has jointing rods and an easy-slide micro-dot skin made of edge-banded, vibration- and noise-resistant MDF. The table is quieter than most enclosed router tables due to the noise-absorbing MDF tabletop, rigid steel base, and vibration-dampening rubber feet.

The table also includes jointing capability, a 16" x 24" low-friction surface, and an aluminum miter slot, and has a built-in dust collection port. The package contains the Precision Benchtop Router Table, insert plate with reducing rings, plate levelers, aluminum fence with bit guard and jointing rods, flip stop, featherboard, assembly hardware, and an owner's manual.

FUNCTION: The table provides a secure, flat work surface to control the material while machining, allowing for easier cutting of joinery, slots, and rabbets and increased shop safety when working with larger materials.

TABLETOP DESIGN: The work area is large, made of edge-banded, vibration- and noise-resistant MDF for durability and precision, and the micro-dot skin is made of high-pressure laminate, allowing for easy sliding of workpieces.

DEDICATED DUST COLLECTION: The fence possesses a 2-1/2” OD dust collector port for dust and debris-free operation to keep the work area clean.
