BobsCNC Quantum CNC Router Kit with Makita Router (24 x 24 cutting area and 3.8 Z travel)

To connect this CNC to your computer, simply use the USB cable and run gcode created with your software. In order to complete the kit, you will need a computer, router bits, and software. There are several free and paid software options available. The CNC features a rigid laser cut 5-Ply Baltic Birch frame with SG20U supported rail system, as well as a GT2 9mm belt drive on the X and Y-axis, and a Tr8 Acme Rod mounted with an ACME Nut on the Z-axis. It also includes NEMA 17 Stepper Motors and home switches on all axes, along with a Self-Squaring Gantry. The frame is made of 1/2” MDF, with aluminum T-Slot Spoilboard and includes the Makita RT0701C Variable Speed Router. This CNC is designed to use GRBL1.1 firmware on the Arduino Uno, achieving repeatability of 0.002” to 0.004”. Keep in mind that assembly is required.
